Edgewater has been climbing up the ladder as one of Miami’s trendy and hip places to live. Edgewater is a thriving neighborhood located along Biscayne Bay and is surrounded by Downtown, Brickell, Wynwood , Midtown and the beaches. It’s at the forefront of Miami’s arts and entertainment district and its proximity to the beaches, I-9, Brickell and downtown makes it an attractive neighborhood.
 
As some of the last prime real estate in Miami to be developed, Edgewater has grabbed the attention of many local developers over the past +15 years and is gracing the Miami Skyline with luxury condos and apartment buildings. It is home to some luxury developments such as Elysee, Missioni Baia, Aria on the Bay, Icon Bay, Gran Paraiso, One Paraiso.
 
There are several new developments that have made their debut which include Casa Bella, Aria Reserve, The Edition, 710 the same developer of Zahid Hadid ‘s building 1000. When looking at the Miami Skyline, Edgewater is known as the “new” Miami as it’s skyline is rapidly evolving with endless new cutting edge architecture.

There are so many international restaurants located throughout Edgewater ranging from Peru, Columbia, Cuba, Mexican and healthy such as Pura Vida and the Daily Creation. 
 
Amara One of the best waterfront dining restaurants in the area is located in the Paraiso community Enriqueta's Sandwich Shop is a favorite amongst locals. This Cuban restaurant is best known for their Cuban coffee and variety of soups and sandwiches. They are open for breakfast and lunch. Lagniappe House is a chic, live music venue and restaurant featuring New Orleans cuisine and an array of beer and wine. It’s a great spot to go any night of the week. Taco Chido is a popular artisan Mexican restaurant, fresh ingredients and vegan options. 
 
All along the Biscayne Boulevard corridor there are all kinds of shops including a wide variety of furniture stores. 
Midtown Wynwood and Design District are the neighboring areas you can pick up unique and artsy finds as well as high end luxury retailers. The newly opened Trader Joes grocery store is located in Midtown amongst rows of restaurants, shops like Nordstrom Rack, Target and Home Goods.
